2. I maybe should have been more clear
I have never taken any for anyone else before this. I may have taken some of my own wife (17 years ago) I don't remember. This beautiful young mother is a co-worker of my wife's.

3. Very nice...
I have some rather nasty (only because they were so 80s!!) photos of me carrying my first daughter. The Dorothy Hamill haircut makes me gag. (mine not the baby's, LOL)

4. These are great.
Now did you tell them you were willing to run to the hospital when the baby is born to get new born pics for them? That is fun to do too.

7. Thank you,
I sure did tell them. I am making a book for them for next Christmas. I have made a few Blurb books, they are fun and very nice for the money. Here's a link to my public books. The previews are best viewed in a small browser window.

10. Will go through you books tomorrow
since it is late tonight. They will love the book you make for them though. So tell me about the print quality on the Blurb books...I used My Publishers for my daughter's wedding and both they and I love the book.

11. From what I have read
the print quality is similar to My Publishers. The hard cover dust jackets are nice, glossy paper but the cover boards and spine under the jacket is plain with no option to print on the cover. Another complaint I have read about Blurb is that they have their logo on the copyright page and the back page unless you pay like $10 more per book. The software is easy to use and well thought out. I design my own pages in Photoshop and do not use their templates so am not sure how their templates work but they have a lot of page designs and book theme options. I tried Lulu and their web based photo book software couldn't have sucked more IMHO, I never did even complete a book with them. Neither (Blurb or My Pub) do photo correction like Asuka or other pro sources but the cost per book is a tiny fraction of the cost and the quality doesn't compare either.

13. Love the books but I want to know how
you ended M is for Madelynn. That is a neat idea and book.

I never use the templates provided either. Though I went about my in a completely different way than you did. It is so neat to see other's ideas.

It was fun and they were so appreciative. We sent it to them for Christmas. Daddy is in the Navy stationed in AL.
