Update on my arrest
It's been 15 months since I was arrested for photographing police against their wishes and the case is still in limbo.

I actually went to trial on Monday, only for the State to ask for a continuance.

Read the full update on my blog.

1. It's a shame this is still hanging over your head, Carlos...
The case should have been dismissed before it even started, IMO.

2. Exactly
The photos alone tell the true story. The arrest report was filled with contradictions. And so were the depositions.

But they know I intend to file a civil suit once this clears, so they're doing all they can to wear me down.

They obviously don't know me.

3. Obviously...
:) Even in the brief time that I spent in your wonderful company, it was apparent that you're not the sort to back down on an issue. Obviously they don't know who they're dealing with. Give 'em hell.

4. Good grief!
So the prosecution was not prepared? The judge should have proceeded anyway.

Too bad your lawyer had to file for a speedy trial. I think I read somewhere :sarcasm: that that was a right? Hmmmmmm . . .

Good luck and please continue to keep us posted.
