1. Those photos are dandy!
Love the close ups and the last one especially.

Check out used cameras at B&H or other place that carry used equipment. Nikon and Canon in particular have come out with new models recently, which means there are good deals on the older models.

Check out your local community college to see if they have photo classes. Also, Nikon has a great 3-day photo workshop that travels around the country. It's pricey, but worth it. And you don't have to take all three days.

and as soon as the boys get a few years older I will take some photography courses.

3. You might be able to pick up a 20D somewhere
pretty cheap because they're up to 40D now. I have the 20D, and I really love it.

4. I don't know what you mean
by a "real camera" but there have been some very good inexpensive older 35mm canmeras on eBay recently-check under vintage camera.

Keep doing what you are doing
