Snakes on the Plane
While playing with my corn snake this evening, I took a few shots. He's so photogenic. He's about 4 ft.

Just a handful...

Slidin' through the finga's

Perfect climbing spot

Head shot

1. ...
:scared:

That climbing spot picture reminds me of a Sherlock Holmes story "The Speckled Band".

2. I had a hell of a time getting him off of that chandelier.
Damn if I know where he thought he was going to go, but he seemed to think he'd reached the pinnacle of his career. He's an interesting fellow, rather insecure about the great wild world. He usually prefers to stick close by, with at least the last third of him in contact with me. This was his first great independent adventure.

What exactly do snakes think? LOL

3. That is one beautifully colored snake!
I especially like that first shot...and your avvy, as well. :D

4. Thanks.
The colors, at least on my screen are pretty true. It was tricky trying to take his picture with one hand while hanging on to "His Royal Slitherness" with the other. Plus, he seemed fascinated with the camera, and kept messing up the auto focus, stretching in trying to investigate the camera. I wanted to get a shot of him with his tongue out tasting the air, but it was not to be. Maybe in another session.
