OK...so I just reformatted my wife's photo card...

without, however, realizing that it contained photos of my daughter's graduation from Med School which she had yet to download.

Is there ANY way to recover them from what my download software swears is now an empty photo card, or will I have to remain a fugitive from her wrath, consigned to forever wandering the earth; alone, an outcast, eduring the revilings of all who lay eyes on me, and the pangs of hunger, thirst, and general wretchedness of one cast out?

Edit: thanks to Celebration and WJMS I received a quick relief from my terror, but I just had to come back and embellish the whole wandering outcast theme a bit. :D

I don't remember ever formatting a camera card. Do I need to do that? LOL, I am being serious.

I have to say, I pretty much move pictures from card to computer almost as fast as I can, though. I have to say I was really, REALLY feeling your pain, though.

My hubby only takes pictures with his IPhone, so I don't have these issues. Whew.

Bookmarking this to explain to my husband why I will not format his cards without making him look at them on the computer first, even when he swears all the photos are already on it. Course I have to format his cards because I have him terrified of losing his photos. :rofl: He is also terrified of touching my computer. I did not know nor do I know how I put such fear of causing total destruction into him.

wow. In that case, I suggest you try gravity. Toss all the papers in the air, those which land on their face, read, the rest get C.

She had a bunch of pictures, including some from a trip to St. Louis to visit my sister. She had just let them pile up on her SD card and hadn't put them on her computer. So at some point something happened with the card and the pictures were all lost. She complained about it but I said there wasn't much that could be done, that's why you get them over on the computer right away.
