I didn't realize he was still going to be there on Friday. Doesn't he get to FL tomorrow? I wish he had made more appearances here. I can't wait until he comes back -- closer to home, hopefully next time.

He's in Tampa tomorrow, and several other events in South Florida (maybe Orlando?) including the Cuban American National Foundation breakfast and 2(?) $1000 a plate dinners Thursday/Friday and the rally. I hope I can get out of work early. Normally, the venue would be a long way from my house, but it's five miles away from work, which is a long way from my house.

They just announced this event today. The schedule has been very sketchy since they announced the visit late last week.

and give us a full report when you get home. I'm so jealous!

The more I think about it, the more I have to give Keith credit for the role he's played in helping this change happen that I feel coming over this country. I mean, it's coming for lots and lots of reasons, but he is solidly one of them, and it's so great to see.

Obama's coming here Friday and I just RSVP'd through the email I received. Does that actually mean anything? I think I'm still going to have to stand in a line in the sun for a few hours.

Get there plenty early. I understand in Grand Rapids things moved rather quickly and it wasn't too bad. Of course, it also wasn't real hot or sunny. It rained part of that day with fairly mild temps.

I RSVP'd for his event here, but didn't make it. When I saw the news reports. people were lining up hours and hours before the start time.

I think the RSVP is more for trying to figure out the size of the crowd before hand.

Now here's hoping the work part of our show goes as planned and I can get out a little early. It's Memorial Day weekend, so maybe they'll spring us.

He's this close to having a majority of delegates, period, but it doesn't matter, because the race is SO TIGHT AND SO CLOSE and so the superdelegates will realize that HILLARY HAS A BETTER CHANCE TO WIN THE GE so the regular delegate results will be overturned and HILLARY WILL WIN AFTER ALL.

I just wanted to say, it seems to me that a lot of Hillary's most rabid supporters (and the most rabid Obama haters) seem to come from the ranks of older women who maybe made the same kind of deal with their husbands (intentionally or not)--that she would support him first while he had his career, and then he would step back and she could have her time in the spotlight. They feel cheated now, because they think Hillary held up her end of the bargain by playing second fiddle to Bill all those years, and now he's stepping back and it's her "turn" to be president, but it's getting stolen away from her by this OTHER man. He was supposed to step aside like her husband and let her have it because she "earned" it and it was "owed" to her for standing in her husband's shadow all those years, and now some other guy is going to take it instead, and to them this is horribly unfair. :cry:

They just don't seem to understand that the Presidency of the United States of America is not the property of a husband and wife, that they can trade it back and forth and take turns with it without anyone else interfering or trying to win it for themselves. Nor should it be.

I hope Keith packs it in at midnight. I want to.
