Yo Crispy, re: Cindy Sheehan

There's a couple of weekends left in August. I need to check my calendar, but maybe I can swing back up that way & we could head out to Crawford (Hell, I'll ride the damn bus to/from Waco if I have to).

Maybe we can make it a KOEB meet-up and/or Sept. 24 "practice run," so any KOEBers who are of like-mind can join up in Crawford & support Cindy! :) Timing-wise, it looks like 8/27 is the best bet or is she hanging around until after Labor Day?

And as for joining us on 9/24, you DO have sick leave left, dontcha? You're lookin' a bit peaked to me....maybe you should "stay home" & rest...... ;)

our plans haven't been finalized yet. at this point, i think one of my friends is renting a car & we're driving, leaving on thursday & arriving in the dc-area sometime late on friday. plans are to leave directly after the march/rally so we're home late late late sunday night. don't know where we're getting a hotel room (preferably someplace further out & then metro in)

2. I'm going on a yoga retreat the weekend of the 27th.

So that doesn't work. :( Maybe the Sunday before? I'm going to see if I can go tomorrow.... I have to cancel something else that I don't know if I can cancel....

And as far as 9/24, I could leave Friday after work and return on Sunday -- it's kind of a matter of money & energy at this point. I have really big plans for November so I just don't think I can spare either at this point.
