Recreated from the 12/23 thread...
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the KOEB, No one was watching MSNBC. The KOEB'ers were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of suspenders danced in their heads. When out on the lawn there arose such a sound They all flew to the window and tore open their gowns. The moon on their breasts in the new-fallen snow Gave the luster of youth that they had long ago. When what should their wondering eyes suddenly spy But a man in a suit with a familiar striped tie! His eyes, how they twinkled! His chin dimple, merry! His cheekbones and lip-dent were too much for Berry. He wore wire-rim glasses and had a round belly That shook when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly. The KOEB girls were in disbelief: They knew in a moment, it must be their Keith! "Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Joyful Solstice to you! And if it offends Bill O'Reilly, Happy Holidays, too!" A bagful of snark he had slung on his back, All his fans were so glad that their Keith had come back. He spoke many words as he went to his work, And talked all about the world's heroes and jerks. Then, wadding a paper sheet into a ball, He pitched it, the window broke, he left them all. But I heard him exclaim, ere his fan club could duck: "I'm Keith Olbermann! Keep Your Knees Loose! Good Night, and Good Luck!"
(with some thanks to SCTV for a stolen line here or there. We salute you, Catherine O'Hara.)
A happy 2006 to everyone!
