1. I'm here
even though it's a repeat from last week. :hi:

But as I always say: "Repeat Keith is better than no Keith!

2. Hi, Grey (and Sheridan)
I thought he was going to be back tonight -- and I skipped the show last week.

Hope you had a nice Christmas.

5. It was nice and quiet
After the Zoo that Wal-mart has been, I lucked out and had Saturday and Sunday off...which was nice.

Unfortunately, today was just as bad as last week...zoo wise. I'm exhausted!!

7. Nice that you had the weekend off
Especially since you're relatively new. Today must have been insane.

We went to a 2:30 movie and the line when we got there was incredible. I think everyone went to the movies.

11. It started last night
But we don't really do anything but light the candles every night. With no small kids at home, it kind of loses something.

13. Can I ask your advice about something?
I would like to give my two best friends a Hannakuh gift- I have bought them each
a cute little blue/white bowl, and I would like to put a treat in it- is there a traditional
food that would be good? One of them keeps strict kosher, the other does not.

14. Hmmm....
A traditional treat is chocolate coins wrapped in gold paper. For the one who keeps strict kosher, though, you'll have to be sure they are kosher. I don't know if you have a Jewish bookstore near you or something that sells Jewish items, but that would be the best place to get those chocolates. Do you live in an area that has a large Jewish population?

16. Yes, the chocolate coins are available all over the place here, but I
don't know if they are kosher. Good point. My friend mentioned a
store where she shops alot- I can start there.

thanks!

17. If she shops there a lot, it's probably fine and there's a good
chance they'd have those chocolate coins. If they don't have those, then any kosher candy would be okay. Or you could always get a package of nuts or something else natural like that.

37. It could be a K or a U in a circle, which stands
for Union of Orthodox Rabbis. They're the ones who determine whether an item is kosher or not.

15. I forgot you're in Maryland, but I don't know where Olney is
If you're anywhere near Chevy Chase or Bethesda, you should be able to find kosher candies.

18. Olney is straight north of Chevy Chase about 10 miles!
These are my two closest friends- we get up every morning at 5:20 and power walk for
an hour. It started out as a neighborhood effort, and the three of us are the only ones
that persisted for the past few years.

20. Good for you!
I wish I could get off my fat butt and get up early enough to work out like I used to, but I need my sleep. I thought as you got older you needed less sleep, but it seems to be going the other way for me. When it warms up I walk outside after work, but it's too cold and dark now.

As close as you are to Chevy Chase, I'm sure you'll be able to find those candies.

24. Since I seem to have you as a "captive audience"....
you mentioned something natural like nuts a few minutes ago...
could I give something like fresh apples, or does that need to be from a kosher store as well?

25. Fruit is fine -- Anything natural like fruit, nuts, etc.
you don't have to worry about. I thought about fruit, but I wasn't sure how large the bowls are.

The bowls are indeed too small for fruit- this was just for future reference.

I admit, I'm here. Keith is just too wonderful to miss. :loveya:

I guess I love too much to hear him sing and give tributes to Bubba the Lobster. Even if I have it all on tape.

on edit: Is anyone sorry Keith doesn't really collapse by the end of the show (as he suggests)?

I kinda was. I had such a nice pair of arms for him to collapse into...*sigh*
