Poll question: Vote for your favorite 2005 Keith Moment!
OK, so we know there will be no more new Countdowns for 2005 (we figured that out about halfway through last night's show). So, it's time to vote! What was your favorite "Keith Moment" on Countdown in 2005?

(There will be no corresponding vote for least favorite Keith Moment. The vote would be unanimous...CANCELING THE NEWS QUIZ!!)

1. My favorite - Keith 'won' the Ann Coulter doll!
Hi all, driving by with my favorite Keith story which was at the end of a Friday weekly quiz and Keith 'won' the Ann Coulter doll. Then tore it up and threw it at the camera. Way too funny!

Happy New Year!

3. That would have been a good one to include
Then again, there were so many amusing "prize winnings" on the News Quiz, it would have been a challenge to choose just one! (although that one just might take the cake!)

5. I was shallow
I chose the tie. It did say "favorite moment" after all. :)

7. i picked the katrina rant
even i couldn't believe that shrubbie would sit with his thumb up his ass while people drowned, starved, and died of thirst & lack of medical care in new orleans.

had there been no need for the katrina rant, i would have picked the tie. :)

10. While I don't think anyone is "shallow"
for picking the tie over the Katrina rant, I picked the rant because KO managed to put into words the outrage that many people (self included) experienced while we watched our government sit back & do nothing. I sent the link to that rant to everyone I know, even my wing-nut cousins, & while most probably aren't going to change party affiliation over it, they have at least started THINKING about what their positions are & why they hold those views. That, in my book, is a good thing. :loveya: KO for that.

Plus, I've had a person I considered to be a good friend go fundie wing-nut on me & accuse me of doing & saying things she knows are not true & never could be true. It wasn't a public bashing like KO got from John Gibson, but it still hurts nonetheless when I realize that over 20 years of being a faithful friend who was always there to help counts for absolutely nothing once the other person drowns themselves in Koolaid.
