3. Do you have RealPlayer?
It's supposedly good at translating everything into one program. Best thing I ever did (and it's free, too!).

4. if RealPlayer won't get it done for you
there's a version of MPlayer for the Mac. There's lots of sites (like espn) geared to Windows where I couldn't get things to work using RealPlayer, but once I got MPlayer working, everything was fine. IIRC, there are even binary versions for the Mac, so all you'd have to do is download it and go. (If you're interested but have to build things and get lost in the process, send me a PM. I've cussed my way through many installations and would be glad to cuss right along with you. ;-))
