Jossip's latest on KO's emails

I didn't write this, so bear that in mind:

What I find fascinating here is that this stuff ALWAYS blows up when Keith goes on vacation. Methinks there's a lot more to this than meets the eye.

Someone's been going around the KO boards asking folks for emails they've received from KO for a couple of weeks now.

It's a hit, plain & simple.

...it's possible that he still has the harassing emails from the assholes, complete with IP addresses and other identifying info. Thus, KO could easily have the last laugh.

And I hope he exposes the names on his show.

That last remark from Jossip today went way beyond the pale...and you all know that.

Muff, I'm sorry, but if I were you, I'd do the KO-like thing and, instead of trying to ameliorate this hatchet job they're doing on KO, resign from doing any work for them from this day forward.

First of all, they have a lot of nerve dragging an innocent person into this simply because she was seen in his company in public in the last few days. Whatever is going on, it doesn't involve her. At all.

Second, wouldn't they be embarrassed as all hell if it turned out that he was just being nice to the daughter of an old friend when she happened to visit town...perhaps even at the request of one of her parents.

They should all be deeply ashamed of themselves.

But of course, people like this have no shame.

Now they've added a whole new post just to mention that OW exists. Oooh, real news there. It's not even gossip!

I've seen on other forums where someone comes in & wants posters to contact them re: emails they've received from him.

It's been building for a few weeks, perhaps a month or so. Interesting that we're also being "visited" again, although it's not creating the havoc that I've seen elsewhere.

Let's say he wrote those. The recipient chose to publish that fact, and went out of their way to do it. Hmmm. Lloyd Grove was more than willing (wetting himself, if you will) to publish this smear and took great pleasure doing it. Hmmm.

I think Lloyd Grove might benefit from being trapped in an elevator with O'Lielly for all eternity.

Why would Keith EVEN dignify any critical or hate email with a response? Especially when he can be corresponding with his adoring and adorable KOEBies :loveya: :loveya:

I've gone back & re-read some of the alleged emails & they don't read like KO. Of course, he could have written & sent them. But I have a hard time imagining him referring to Falafelmort as "evil." Stupid, idiotic, ass, asinine, shit-for-brains, along with the f-bomb adjective, yes. "Evil"--not so much. Putting "Americans" in quotes--not so much.

And even if he did write them, so? 38% of Americans still cheer a "President" who lied us into a war that has killed 2500 Americans FOR NO FUCKING REASON. Am I going to get upset because KO told some knuckledragger to go f*ck himself? Nope.

Although I'm an intern, it's still like a real job. Dave and Corynne are the bosses. It's their gig. I can say and input what I want but, at the end of the day, it's their call.

Like any other job, sometimes they'll say and do things I like, sometimes not. BUT, if I quit, I get NO INPUT AT ALL.

Now, granted, in all fairness: KO made a big mistake in responding to those emails. But guess what? He's human, and he was provoked. He also probably didn't expect his privacy was going to be violated. It's news, so Jossip's going to report it, and the editors will spin it however they want. There's only so much I can do.

That said...I'm still doing some snooping, and we'll see if it pans out. In the meantime, thanks for your understanding on my situation.

P.S. Here's my column for this week. While my fave comment from "Countdown" (Where it's revealed that Dubya fondly refers to Karl Rove as "Turd Blossom") didn't make it in, there's still some funny stuff. Hope you enjoy, and please leave feedback!

Nobody here is blaming you. We're just over-protective of Keith, especially since he's off and unable to respond for himself. That's what massive doses of estrogen does, I guess. :hug:

Sometimes, I think folks don't fully understand how this works. I can have all the personal opinions I want but, at the end of the day, it's going to spin however it's going to spin. As long as everyone realizes that, it's okay by me.

(Thanks again for the feedback. If the editors know the column's popular, it definitely helps. I do know that Tucker's staff and Rita's staff both read it, but the more comments, the better. Besides, I enjoy knowing what you like and what you don't.)

In the meantime...Britney Spears wants to give birth in Africa. If that ain't scary, I don't know what is.

I know you don't have control over everything Jossip does. But if anyone at the organization I work for published anything like the statement that was made the other day about KO and "Katy" (and you know which one I mean), my letter of resignation would be on my boss's desk so fast it'd make one's head spin.

I'd find another way to find out what was going on...and wash my hands of gossip rags (including online ones) for good.
