Beloved friends of this most honest forum, a gift for you all
My Wayward Daughter is tickled pink that her ol mom has discovered the joys of watching, and laughing with, Craig Ferguson.

Here is the man, honest to the point of nakedness, on the recent loss of his dad. I know you all can relate. Hopefully you will smile through your tears. We are blessed that we can REALLY feel and we are brave that we have the courage to admit it.

I love you guys/ladies here in this forum. Please enjoy this link from my very wise daughter:

1. Aye, havocmom
Things like 'putting his hand on my head', those gestures that convey the feelings, those are what keep the memories so strong and true.

When Craig was talking about his father making his beloved gestue from his hospital bed I could actually feel it, see it, happening.

Yes, tell your very wise daughter thanks for me and give her a big

:loveya:

3. Thank you for sharing this link.
For some reason, it reminded me of the time when Brett Favre's father died. The following Sunday, Brett played the game of a lifetime.

What I get from this is that we all have to find our own way to honor and remember those we loved and lost. Writers write. Talkers talk. Football players play. And I did the committal service for Mom at the cemetery.

What I'm wondering is, what are the ways all of us have found to express ourselves? What did you do, which came from deep within yourself?
