If the president pulls out a gun and shoots a newsreporter
Could the Secret Service or another agency quickly intervene and/or place him under arrest or do they have to hold a hearing to decide if any action should be taken?

1. Yes, the reporter would be arrested
In George Bush's America.

2. What are you talking about?
If that happened it would be because
GAWD told him to do it.
End of story,
BHN

4. the Today Show and the New York Times and (FU)X) News
will declare it a bold and decisive action on the part of the President to defeat terrorism.

And then they will cut to a story about a missing white woman

7. Did the reporter have the temerity to ask about
Bush's spy program, or WMDs, or election fraud?
If so, then in Bush's Amerika the reporter was a terraist and deserved to be silenced.
:puke:

9. Margaret Truman, Harry Truman's daughter wrote a novel
about a murder in the White House. I never read it, but supposedly she addresses how the President and his family would be different in these circumstances if they were suspects. I know it's out of print but there might be a copy lying around in a library somwhere. It think it was titled "Murder at Pennsylvania Avenue" or something like that.

12. they would start an investigation
To see why the reporter was in front of Bushes gun. then Bush would swift boat his family and say that his wife is a drug addict and they had black baby.
nothing would happen to bush.

13. The President wouldn't need to do it himself...
...he'd just get the local FBI to do it for him, or at least he'd do some excellent character assassination (look at what happened with Dan Rather...)

15. Bush would say
that he did it because he swore to do whatever it takes to defend 'Murka from terr'ists, and he knew in his heart that that particular reporter hated freedom.

17. They'd only arrest him if he were still alive.
If he were dead, the agents would be too busy carving another notch in the handle of Dubya's gun.
