"I do solemnly swear...
(or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and I will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Bush lied under oath.

1. Anyone in congress who refuses to impeach
him for this has also lied under oath. The whole republican party should be impeached for it...as well as any dems who don't scream about it.

2. Never to be ignored...
Bush (and I refuse to call him "*") has violated the very document he swore under oath and on a Bible to preserve, protect, and defend.

5. There you have it, "to the best of my ability".......
that's bush's "out". He'll say that everyone in the world knows he has little or no ability in any area therefore he can't be held responsible for his crimes. It will henceforth be known as the george w. bush, "I'm stupid" defense and will be studied by constitutional scholars for generations to come. He'd have a point there, no one would ever argue that defense but as I understand it ignorance of the law is no defense at all. Yes, george w. bush did lie under oath and hasn't stopped since. I guess when you find something that works for you, you go with it until it stops working for you. Hey, george, it's stopped. Time to pay the piper!

8. They're just words
to the cretin in chief. They mean nothing to someone who's never been held accountable for anything in his entire life.
