Can Dixie Chicks' new album be streamed (for free)?
Not to be CHEAP, but I am not a fan of country music. I am, however, a BIG fan of Anti-War music, and have bought Pink's and Neil Young's lastest, which I love.

But I am not familiar with Dixie Chicks' music, and given my bias don't know if I'd like it. Certainly, I might buy it anyway to give as a gift. But, I'd like to hear it for myself, perhaps I'd like it.

Does anyone know if there's a link to stream it (the whole thing, not just one song)? Thanks.

Honestly if for no other reason than to give the finger to the people who have said the Dixie Chicks career is over because they spoke out against Bush.

You can get it for less than 10 bucks at some places.

6. Many record stores have listneing stations.
You can preview the CD. The musicianship and the vocals make the CD worth buying. I am not a country fan, but found their music to be to my liking.

Try Bluegrass music. (The Dixie Chicks can play Bluegrass with the best of them.)

http://www.alisonkrauss.com/ Her voice will break your heart.

Nickel Creek is a great intro into the new Bluegrass. The mandolin player will singe your eyebrows.

We used this CD as fill music during our Kerry for President Rally back in 2004. It was perfect.
They push the bounds of what a purist would call bluegrass.

If you want purity, go Bill Monroe http://hammer.prohosting.com/~coollz/bill.htm or Jim & Jesse http://www.jimandjesse.com/

Years ago someone broke into Bill Monroe's home and crushed his famous mandolin. After the police finished their investigation a well known luthier came in and picked up ever piece, every splinter and reassembled the instrument to as close to original as possible.
