Miss Waverly nails a Bush fan
Edited on Thu Jun-01-06 03:51 PM by MissWaverly
today, I got into a discussion at work. The freeper was saying about how both dems and Republicans are corrupt - look at William Jefferson. I said, that is not true at all.
Mr. Noe has plead guilty in Ohio, he was reimbursing people who donated to the Bush Cheney
campaign. He was given money from the State of Ohio Bureau of Workmen's Compensation to invest, and he "invested" in the Bush Cheney campaign. The republicans are squandering hard earned tax dollars on their campaigns. I then told him about how the Department of Homeland
Security had a 23 million dollar contract with a limo service with 8 limos in DC. I said
that these are your tax dollars that are being wasted. I said that this has all been
going on since 2000 and I never heard of the Dems doing this. He said that he had not
heard of any dems doing anything like this either.

:-)

1. Even WIlliam Jefferson didn't put away the bucks...
That Tom Delay put away from Jack Abramoff! Or that Duke Cunningham pocketed. I'm glad you took care of him--just goes to show that--in the corruption department, at least--they beat us by a landslide! :D

:kick:

B-)

4. Thanks
Yes, they have, I think that there has always been influence peddling, but the entire GOP infrastructure has become "show me the money." Let's hope it's a dem landslide, they really
need to realize that this is unacceptable and a majority does not mean no ethics.

12. I think the part of tax dollars siphoned off is a good one
even Peter King (R) New York is mentioning the DHS contract that awarded millions to the limo
service related to Hookergate.

the Republican Party *itself* has been turned into a sort of organized criminal enterprise.

10. Yes, I think so too
They have no concept at all of right or wrong. Our tax dollars are just candy to them, just
something to suck up for their own personal needs, it's outrageous. This fake companies that
got bogus contracts and then funneled the money back as "lobbyists" to individual congressman
and the GOP party, it's mind boggling.
