2. Question marks are irresistible
Never saw a question I didn't feel compelled to answer.

3. Intriguing subject line or obvious freeper post or personal interest topic
Sometimes a regular poster with "DU cred" will get me to look at a thread.

The subject line of the post. If it interests me, I click it, if not, I don't.

Or try to. The board is clipping along a lot faster than it used to, but I still go back pages so I don't miss much.

Usually if it is in Religion/Theology, I'll at least click on it. I always click on threads that say they are cartoons; other threads I click on depending upon if the title interests me.

If it's something I haven't heard yet. Senate and President race speculation is a big draw for me. And any topic from Bush_Eats_Beef cause he cracks me up. :)

I'm mostly likely to read a thread that has some kind of news, and if it's a little extreme, so much the better.
