Oh, there were a few reprisals (individual acts) after Malmedy, but they were of enemy soliders, not men in wheelchairs and babies. Apples and Oranges even if it were true.

yes, there were incidents when Allied troops were liberated the concentration camps, but jeepers, who is going to blame them? stinking BO?

You see there WAS a group of German soldiers killed AFTER surrendering to the 82nd in the early morning hours of D-Day. Steven Ambrose mentions it in several of his books, including one called Band of Brothers. There Ambrose attributed it to "battlefield rumors that may or not be true", if I recall correctly.

But where it is more prominent is in the HBO series by that same name: Band of Brothers*. There was a long scene where one NCO 82nd trooper hands out a pack of smokes to a group of POWs and then mows them down with a Thompson.

That's where he got the idea............from watching HBO!!!!!!!!!!
