What do George W. Bush, Bill O'Reilly, Katherine Harris have in Common?
Edited on Fri Jun-02-06 04:07 PM by Botany
All attended Harvard. All have master degrees from Harvard too.

In 1974, he obtained permission to end his six-year service obligation six months early in order to attend Harvard Business School, where he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1975; he is the first U.S. president to hold an MBA.

In 1995, O'Reilly left to enroll in the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University where he received a Master's Degree in Public Administration. Upon leaving Harvard, Roger Ailes, chairman and CEO of the then startup FOX News Channel, hired O'Reilly to anchor The O'Reilly Factor.

A former IBM marketing executive and vice president of a commercial real estate firm, Congresswoman Harris earned a Master's Degree from Harvard University with a specialization in international trade and negotiations, and a Bachelor's Degree in history from Agnes Scott College.

Good thing that Harvard is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo selective. :sarcasm:
I really doubt money bought any of those great thinkers into that gem of higher education.

5. Just read that line about her being a former IBM marketing exec! Do you
have any proof of that? I was in IBM between 1973 and 2003, and I never heard of a Katherine Harris being a marketing executive.

10. Ok, got it. 'Marketing Executive' means she was a marketing rep that was
assigned to an 'account' (went to another company to sell IBM stuff). When I read it, I thought she was claiming to have been an IBM high-level manager. She was just one of thousands during the time (NAD wasn't around for long...maybe 6 years).

6. So much for Harvard's reputation.

We get better leaders out of South Bumfuck Community College. Note: This is NOT a dis on community colleges; it's a huge dis on Harvard -- strongly suggesting that all you have to do is get into Harvard in the first place (and it helps to be well-off, white and well-connected), and then you can get a degree to hang on the wall and brag about. At community colleges, in contrast, you actually have to so some work and pass your courses. I wonder whether a Harvard degree is more like a designer label; just like your designer jeans aren't actually any better-made than the ones you buy at Sears. They, like the Harvard MBA, just let you preserve the illusion that you're more cool than other people.

8. Well if the school logo is correct ....
(latin (veritas) meaning "truth" over a graphic design of an animal with it's toungue out)...I would say it means that "The TRUTH is they are ugly arrogant sub-humans who walk on their hind legs." How am I doing so far?

16. Benedict Arnold went to Harvard, Nathan Hale went to Yale.
That's the big freshman chant.

But then Yale has nothing to be proud of with the Bush clan.
