Does anyone else find the "Jose Can You See..

America's New National Anthem" ad not in very good taste? I mean, I understand the thinking behind advertising, but, well, there's something about this that bugs me.

Maybe I'm just being bitchy. I'm open to that possibility.

4. This was an old joke, dating, at least, from WWII.

I remember my mother telling it, supposedly happening at a baseball game, and the person (named Jose) was immensely pleased, thinking they were singing to him, specifically.
Yes it was racist, or at least xennephobic, during a time when such things were deemed more acceptable.
I have been expecting this very scenario, for some time, now.
