Much as I'd like to see Coulter go to jail, remember that she is innocent until proven guilty. After all, aren't we supposed to be the people who believe in the rule of law, as opposed to the "God told me to do it" Republicans?

I wonder if they'd put both of them in the men's prison too! It's fitting for Coulter, and it is probably what Harris would want anyway (hmm... She said that women should not vote because they do not understand how money is made and that is why they like government money spent on things like education and social programs.

...this is priceless. Either the retaining of a lawyer is being done as a purely prophylactic measure here, or Coulter has genuine reason to believe this could get ugly.

I do sympathize with her, the country really has gone to shit. Why I can remember when all you needed to be was a right-wingnut to get away with a felony... :sarcasm:

But I do support her getting her voting rights back if convicted. Along with all the others Florida refuses to let vote. How can a State stop a US citizen from voting in a national election? I don't get it.

I hope she gets convicted..oh, wait, this is Florida and Jebbie we're talking about.

The radical right would have been calling for her to be guillotined.

The radical right will no doubt call this a "youthful indiscretion," and at
that only if she is in danger of conviction (and if she's not, why the heavyweight
legal counsel for a matter whose legality or illegality should be open and shut?).

It's only a big deal because of how she reacts to Democrats in the same circumstances
(or not even!). She has made her own bed this time. The fleas she attracts are hers
and hers alone.

I'm sure she'll make Bush's pardon list, probably in plenty of time to vote.

has gotten too much attention for a moran with a venomous litany toward those of us who believe in representative democracy and equal justice under law. Nothing wrong with her that wouldn't be cured by a stay at the Graybar hotel and License Plate Factory. She should sue the doctor responsible for the failed sex change operation for malpractice. Check out the size of her hands and feet. And we can leave out the adams apple.

How stupid is she that she doesn't know her own address? Is she not also the one who pontificated endlessly about ignorance and stupidity of voting laws in the 2000 debacle?

It's obvious that she labors under the delusion of many, many Republicans, whether it be George Bush or Tom Delay or Scooter Libby or Jack Abramhoff, or Safavian, or Cunningham, or Rove, or Blackwell, or Harris, THE RULES DO NOT APPLY TO THEM. The rules only apply to the "little people". Let this be forever known as the "Helmsley Rule of Law".
