1. NO. There's a diff between pardoning and failing to prosecute...

and if GW isn't prosecuting (and he ain't --he's broke and lazy when it comes to the military), why should the next President?

It would be a stupid thing to do on many levels and is unecessary.

promising to do so. I think he would NEED to pardon, but should keep his mouth shut about it prior to election.

are the troops still being in the military.
The U.S. military presents itself nowadays as being the biggest terrorist organization in the world. The only thing of true honor for a soldier thus is to desert.

Being part of the troops means being part and taking part in a criminal enterprise.
