Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.

believe me, I've tried. There are so many scriptures on love in the New Testament and Jesus said the most important commandment was to love one another. Yet fundies are the ones who supposedly know the Bible so well!! Well, how do they keep missing those scriptures?

Jesus also said to feed the poor and sick and to take care of the widows. He said the poor will always be with us (not that they'll eventually pull themselves up on their own bootstraps and become middle class Americans with lots of discretionary cash on hand).

AAAArrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh.

feeding the poor and the sick, and taking care of the widows would COST THEM SOMETHING. That isn't what they want.
And loving one another? That would require them to give up their oh-so-comfortable bigotries, prejudices, and hatreds...they don't want to do that. So they conveniently ignore those things in the bible that would require THEM to change...or that would COST THEM SOMETHING.

They follow those parts of the bible only inconvenient to others...particularly those parts which can be twisted and manipulated into creating further suffering for enemies of their own choosing..
