The War against America. By the Christians?
Doesn't make sense to many of us with a little wear. They've always been good Americans with an idea of attraction to garner their ranks rather than promotion.

Now, they seem to be feeling out a "my way or the highway" stand.

What happened?

The Judge Roy Moores, The Fred Phelps, Jerry Fallwell, Oral Roberts... All have (with the exception of Phelps) garnered political clout with voting blocks that follow their lead.

Why?

Personally, I am far more worried by these home grown extremists than I am by anyone from the ME. They are closer and have access to plenty of fertilizer. Rather than 21 virgins, they proclaim to believe that they are the chosen and are about to get whisked up into heaven sans clothing at any moment now while the rest of us are going to be left here with nothing left except an inevitable hell on earth.

I'm not posting this as an anti Christian scree, but a concern over factions that have grown from the Christian... religion?

2. I saw this sticker once...It describes me
I love God. It's his fan club I'm not real hot on.

The fan club (faultwell, marion, oral 'enough said', and roy moor-on) scare the s**t out of me.

5. It's a play off of an old Mahatma Gandhi quote...
One variant:
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

belief but factions within that religion... You won't see any mainstream faiths buying into Falwell's trash talk. This is about power - and yeah, they scare me too. Fortunately, the Roman Catholics are more numerous by several million and have more power and money so unless they make an unholy pack between them, we are safe.

BTW, I don't fall into any of the above faiths - mainstream, RC or Falwell's X-ianity.

:hi:

edited to correct grammar... oops.
