C-SPAN caller just brought up Junior/CONdi affair and Laura at hotel

Wow, someone just called and asked, "Why hasn't C-SPAN covered the fact that Laura moved into the Mayflower Hotel because she is mad at George for his ongoing affair with CONdi?"

They asked him where he read the story, and the caller said, "On the Internet, but it was sourced to the NYT or the Washington Post."

I have seen this on websites banned by DU for quoting, but never sourced to a mainstream publication.

1. I've never seen it linked to any MSM either.

There's been a lot of threads on DU about it, but I suspect it's wishful thinking rather than factual stuff...so far anyway.

What could the wingnuts possibly say? Everyday, I wonder, how much more do people need to finally stop defending this idiot? Surely, an affair exposed would do it, wouldn't it? A crying Laura interview in Vanity Fair?

One thing for sure, it would certainly stop people from chastising Bill about Monica.

Maybe she moved out to keep her poll numbers from sinking as low as his - most other Repugs are avoiding him at fundraisers and stuff. Last I saw, Laura had much higher ratings.

As I recall, the WH spokeswoman who was asked about it chuckled at the question and then said, "No comment." I've thought about that quite a bit since then and always draw the same conclusion: it's something of an open secret within the staff and now that Andy Card is gone, the news has percolated to the second floor residence.
