If we go to Iran

What will happen?

My predictions:

In the Middle East,
Insurgency spreads to Iran
Several massive war crimes perpetrated by American soldiers
When we finally get to the nuclear facilities, all that will be found will be a water tank and some pieces of uranium

Back home,
Political Suicide for the GOP as Democrats get a super majority in both the House and Senate
No impeachment for Bush, but somebody high ranking (Condi or Rummy) will resign in disgrace
On the other hand, Bush Agenda is completely scrapped, and Bush will have to settle with being recorded as the most incompetent President in American History

3. We won't go to Iran

Bomb Iran, maybe, but we simply do not have the troop numbers that would be needed for an invasion and occupation of that country. But I hesitate to think what would happen if we bomb Iran and Iran retaliates.
