and you can stop them, since you have a star. I think you go to Options, click on edit preferences, and then click to not show google ads.

5. Yes, it is a trial with Google. The Admins I believe were approached
by Google to try this out. The idea is, if it is not too intrusive, we may not have to donate. If you are a donor, you can suppress the ads. That seems pretty fair to me, but I choose not to suppress or acknowledge the ads. I believe that I stated the reason correctly, but if, not, please feel free to correct me.

I also believe, this is for a free trial period, but, once again, please correct me if I am wrong.

6. Yes
I think this ability has only been around a day or two. As soon as I saw the notice, I changed my preferences, and since then, no google ads! Yet ANOTHER reason to support DU!

I clicked on either my du or post and I got switched to a page from something like democratic dating.
