"Innocent" Iraqis
Excuse me, but do a lot of people in our government and media never ask themselves the question:

Where are the Iraqis who detonated bombs in New York and Washington DC? Where are the Iraqi choppers strafing Atlanta and the Iraqi troops occupying Los Angeles? Where are the Iraqis who are killing or harming or threatening to do those things to us?

People need to understand this: we barged into THEIR nation and must do every single thing we can to respect them. These politicians and media acting as if we have full reign over that country and should be proud of our occupation are living in fantasy land. We have no rights, only obligations to the Iraqis. We should be ashamed of things like Haditha, not try to marginalize or rationalize these incidents.

Because none of these people dying every posed any threat to us, but we are at least part of the reason all of them are dying. So what the hell are some of these people thinking?

2. The U.S. attacked them (1) to win an election and (2) to steal their
oil. The was is one monumental war crime from beginning to end. Even if we had killed no Iraqis, it would have still been a human rights violation to take over their government and any of their property we coveted.

3. don't you remember...?
Bush gave them opportunity after opportunity to prove their innocence, and when they said they weren't a threat to anyone we knew they were lying. We HAD to invade Iraq. They gave us no other choices.

Don't you remember?

4. I should explain my title...
Many people are saying these are the innocent Iraqis in Haditha. I'd like to know where the ones who aren't innocent (in comparison to anything they've done to us) are.

5. 9/11, 9/11, 9/11, terrorists, terrorists, OVER THERE rather than here.
Just think, we haven't even started the war in Iran, yet. The neocons' venture is FAR bigger than merely Vietnam.

One thing I've accepted, Americans are vulnerable, especially emotionally vulnerable, because they've NEVER "realized" what they were taught about the rewards of being an honest, hard-working, educated citizen.

 what else can I say? Americans can't even reconcile their own damn lives in their own damned country. What's left to actually reconcile what's being imposed upon other innocent people?

It's pitiful, beyond belief, pitiful.

I'm so sorry!

6. If they'd invaded US, would we fight back? I think we would.
So it's kinda no surprise at all that they're fighting back.
