The mind of an Arkie GOP supporter. This LTTE was in the Arkansas
Edited on Sun Jun-04-06 08:33 PM by sinkingfeeling
Democrat Gazette on Saturday. I hate this rag, but they threw a 'freebie' in my driveway. Here is an amazing look at GOP logic:

"I am alifelong Republican. I'm 56 and the first ballot I cast was for Richard Nixon. I'm still vey proud of that vote. I voted for former President George H.W. Bush four times. I also voted for George W. Bush four times. I am very sorry about those votes. I never dreamed that one administration could screw up so many things and never be right on any.

The current president is dead wrong to use the National Guard to invade another country. Why didn't he spend at least a year, build up the Army to Colin Powell's recommended strenghts and then invade? Iraq wasn't going anywhere, was it? Saddam Hussein wasn't going to abdicate, was he?

Donald Rumsfeld has to be the most inept cabinet member in history. How could anybody have American military power at his disposal and be fighting against Toyota trucks mounted with RPGs and be losing? It's ridicuous. NUKE 'EM.

Bush, along with a very arrogant, if not stupid, Rumsfeld, wants to send 6,000 very proud, very effective members of the National Guard to "seal" the border. Why not 60,000? I would bring all the troops home from Iraq, which hasn't invaded us, and send them to Mexico, which absolutely has invaded us.

Starting today, I will not partonize any company that asks me which language I want to conduct my business in until there is a real
solution to the third Mexican invasion. The answer to the Mexican border problem: NUKE 'EM."

3. How the hell did he vote
for George Sr. four times and George W. four times? They only ran for president twice each. Methinks this fella needs a civics lesson, as well as a brain transplant. And isn't Bald Knob waaayyyyy out in the sticks? Maybe the educational system there isn't quite as good as it should be. At least not for our friendly Bald Knob letter writer.

5. Remember that the 3rd Congressional District
of Arkansas has has repuke representation since 1967, when John Paul Hammerschmidt took over-and he was still supporting Nixon after Tricky resigned! Don't know if Bald Knob is in the 3rd, but I do know that Tyson really likes the Hispanics coming in and doing the jobs in their poultry processing plants. And in Arkansas, what Tyson and WalMart want, they get.

Perhaps this repuke has been talking to the Guardsmen, some of whom are being sent back to Iraq despite being mentally incapacitated with PTSD-I talked with the mother of one, who was beside herself. "They wouldn't let him even see a doctor, they've just given him pills. I'm worried sick about him, and frustrated that I can't speak out." She's really scared if she says something, they'll make sure her son doesn't return from this tour of duty.

10. Anyone that EVER says "Nuke'em" with a straight face is an IDIOT.
Edited on Sun Jun-04-06 08:38 PM by Yollam
Not only are they idiots, saying "Nuke'em should be a crime, with a mandatory sentence of visiting the exhibits at Hiroshima and Nagasaki on what that word really means, and THEN they should be sentenced to spend at least a full day in a burn ward, changing the bandages of patients in excruciating pain from keloids and other burns the likes of which are produced by "nukes", napalm, and all the other technological terrors the US routinely hurls at impoverished people whose governments fail to comply with its every whim.

Re: Lifelong Republican Who Desires To Nuke Everyone

Perhaps the federal government should institute a policy of one-to-one trading with the illegal immigrant situation. I nominate you to participate in the first transaction. Clearly people like you need to be living in a country without the capability of blowing up the world just to satisfy a temper tantrum.
