The polygamist family got outed (they called it "exposed") last night
on Big Love (HBO). The kids had to do the perp walk, along with their father and mothers.

Any reactions? Any predictions about next season?

5. Well, if it helps...
the description isn't entirely accurate and there's much more in the episode than just this... go watch it because I didn't even consider this to be the highlight since we all knew this would happen eventually!

2. When it happened, I imagined
Bill Paxton standing up and screaming "Game over, man! Game over!!!"

11. Sorry -- too late. Don't miss the show, though -- there is
so much going on, that's just one part that everything's been obviously leading up to.

6. 'don't ask me why I'm hooked!" . . . exactly my sentiments . . .
I find the show extremely compelling, and I have no idea why . . . the characters? . . . the writing? . . . the novelty? . . . I don't know -- and I don't care . . . I just look forward to season two . . .

14. One thing they're really successful at, I think,
is managing to portray the worst about the family and the best at the same time -- sometimes within a few minutes. For example, as strange as Nikki is, sometimes the relationship the women have with each other, and their children, is portrayed in a very positive way -- as when they comforted each other last night. But then you see the terrible dark side -- the Prophet's child bride.

Life is complicated. And this show never pretends otherwise.

7. Edit your post.
There's no need to be rude.

It was all very interesting, but it's going to be a long wait until next season.

12. If you only read the subject line you won't know much, will you?
Even having watched the show, I don't know how exposed they really are. Whether the people who know now are going to do anything about it.

9. I Think It Will Turn Out To Be A Dream Of Some Sort....
the twists were bizarre, truly out of charachter for the show, up to this point. The family being "exposed" just takes away too many possibilities and too many potential plot lines.

16. Yeah that was great
How about that poisoning? Pretty cool way they solved that mystery.

As for predictions, I say they will have to move back to the compound with Roman and the people there. Bill's stores will go belly up, cause who wants to buy from a polygamist. So they will lose the business, their homes and all their material possessions and move back to their roots.

Of course the story is more interesting if they are living in the burbs like they do now. So I could be way off base here.

19. THAT was the highlight!
And, the short hospital shot just made me laugh my ass off. I'm surprised they didn't stick the tag on the toe!

17. it was incredible
At the end, I was yelling at Bill as he walked in on the wives' comforting 'bosslady';'It's all your fault, you pig. You didn't have enough with one wife, did ya, had to get yourself two more, you greedy slob. Now look what you got out of it!'
Yet, the show still manages to get people to empathize with all characters, except Roman and Albie.

18. That's the amazing thing. At first everybody seemed kinda crazy,
but the more you watch, the more you can empathize.

I think there's a lot of depth to these scripts. So much going on. And so much more interesting than the Sopranos, for instance, which are starting to seem awfully repetitive lately.
