1. interesting
I'm no Lieberman fan but Joe has a much more liberal voting record than Ben. Ben is supporting Bush on the gay marriage ban and Joe opposes this. I believe Ben also voted for the Iraqi resolution.

2. I don't think Nelson has ever voted against shrub
Lieberman is pretty much a DINO but Ben Nelson is almost as close to repuke as zig-zag Zell Miller was.

4. Ben Nelson has no right to call himself a democrat. He's a
republican through and through.

5. Despite LIEbermann Liberal Voting Record
He is a sure implement of the rethugs, DLC, neocons and corporatists when they need someone to clobber the liberals/progressives and when they need help to pull out their *nuts* from the clamps!

6. They have good approval ratings among REPUBLICAN voters, not Democrats.
I'll see if I can find a poll you need to see.

8. This is just ONE poll and I've seen others where the results are the same.
MORE Repukes support him than do Dems and Independents.

Lieberman:

Approve 63 %

Disapprove 31 %

Now look at the party breakdown;

Republicans - 69 % Approve 24% Disapprove

Democrats - 59 % Approve 36 % Disapprove

Independents - 63 % Approve 31 % Disapprove

7. Nelson is voting the wishes of the majority of his constituents
Lieberman backs Bush on issues where his constituents disagree.
