Republican: "Bush needs to get out of America's bedrooms..."
Something tells me Bushie's little speech today didn't do what it intended to do. Several devout Repugs I have the punishment of knowing are not happy with today's speech.

It seems they feel Bush and the government need to spend less time worrying about what consenting adults do between the sheets, and spend more time dealing with the very real issues we have facing us today.

Like Iraq.

The deficit.

Oil prices.

Corruption in government.

The upcoming hurricane season.

Last year's hurricane aftermath.

I think Bushie has lost touch with his base. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but I look for another drop in the polls based on these early returns... :)

1. But it is so much easier and more fun to reduce everything to sex
Especially "perverted" sex. :sarcasm:

3. Ooohhh...it gets better!
Another Repug said, "Bush just needs to shut the f*ck up. Every time he opens his mouth it's an embarrassment and harms the GOP. They should send him off on vacation for the next couple of years, and only allow him to appear at public relations events. He's totally lost his mind."

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I've now heard from 5 Repugs since the speech today, and not a one of them liked it, supports it, or thinks it will help in any way.

4. The Freepers aren't too happy either
In fact, they're REAL unhappy.

I wish I could post there. One guy said, he's just giving us lip service.

I would have said, no, he's on his knees giving you full mouth service. He's freakin' DESPERATE that the entire GOP will just not vote this year. Then he gets impeached, convicted and jailed.

5. Those would be conservative republicans
Bush is NOT 'conservative'. Everything he has done constitutes an extreme Right Wing fascist agenda which is the antipolar antithesis of 'conservatism'
