Edited on Mon Jun-05-06 05:31 PM by Philosoraptor
A hate crime on a vast scale. I am expecting a spike in anti gay violence to break out again soon. He is putting it into the heads of the zealots that gays threaten the very core of our society and are the number one threat, and many unhinged zombies believe this shit for real.

What implications could occur from Bush's anti gay hate crime?

If one of us stood up to propose it, we'd likely be arrested.

You join on 6/2 and in the last 30 mins you've jumped into thread and thread about gay marriage and start flame wars.

Logical? Sane?

Look in the mirror, Taffy. It's not a pretty sight.

25. I think it's a logical conclusion myself
Using level headed thinking, how can this hate legislation promotion not be considered a hate crime. It is pure hate and we should be able to prosecute those who would create an environment of hate in this country.

People will be killed based on what Bush did today - that is a crime.

In any case though, it may be worth getting your meme out to Air America and other liberal talk radio outlets.

many times did he demonize judges? So next time I go to court for anything I should not trust the JUDGE???!!!

16. Did you notice he looked very unsure of himself?
I didn't see it all, but after finishing he looked like someone who just went through an ordeal.

Ah well, could be my imagination. But sometimes Bush looks 'not as he's supposed to', if you know what I mean.

Over here, the reporters says he never will get this through Congress, and that this was Bush' way of boosting support among the fundies. Any comments on that?

Just going to feed the conservative hysteria that liberals are going to "outlaw the Bible and persecute Christians".

Bush is making a joke out of himself anyway. Most AMericans known that this is simply political posturing.

27. The rabid conservative Christians are going to be rabid
and hysterical regardless of what we say or do. They manage to manufacture persecution out of whole cloth while bullying people who are just seeking equality. The OP was just calling a spade an spade and I agree with the OP.

32. I'm confused. Weren't the 'illegal aliens' the biggest threat to our
society last week? Now, it's gays? And next week or year, can we get back to Muslims?

I'm 57 years old and for 52 of them I was safe in my country. Now every week there's a new biggest threat! What am I to think?
