O Geez..The nuts are at it again (Regarding births on 6/6/06)
Edited on Mon Jun-05-06 06:29 PM by BlueJazz
My local news just ran a story on how many pregnant Women are asking their Doctor
to "Force" the birth of the child NOW, so he/she won't be born on June 6, 2006 (666)
Some have sworn to take drugs to either have the child before or after june 6th.

Dear God (and I'm an Atheist)...Do we really have to put up with this crap?

What's next? Blood Letting?...

12. Too funny!!!

}(

I'm an atheist so of course I don't believe in that 666 BS. However, I am VERY worried for any child that happens to be born tommorrow to fundamental Christian parents!

14. Nothing wrong with Damien......
.....my grandson's name is Damien. Of course, my ex husband (fundamental 'Christian')threw a fit, took it as a personal insult that the child was being named Damien, given his personal 'Christian' beliefs and all.
Called the boy by his middlename, until my daughter and me raised hell with him. Still won't call him by his given name, to this day and the kid's going on 3.

I told him "it's a movie, ferf*ckssakes' - but he swears he's going to hell if he utters the name Damien (dunno really, but wouldn't be surprised if that's what he thought...)

3. Put up with stupidity? Yep. As long as there are people
You will have to put up with stupidity, tied to Christianity or not.

What is the alternative to "putting up with it" anyway? Becoming a hermit? How do you stop people from doing dumb stuff? You don't. You just sorta hope the Darwin effect gets them out of the gene pool at some point.

4. You know...When I was young, I could never understand..
..why some folks became hermits.
I understand now and I don't suppose there's any true harm in what folks
(sometimes) do...but on the other hand.. They Vote. :)

Pastor accused of witchcraft

By AMANDA SMITH-TEUTSCH Tribune Chronicle

AUSTINTOWN — It may not be focused on the horrors that befall college students in some creepy woods, but Mahoning County now has its own ‘‘Blair Witch Project,’’ complete with elements of witchcraft and intrigue.

The Rev. Mark Musser of Austintown is suing Emmanuel Lutheran Church from which he was fired on claims that he was involved in witchcraft.

‘‘For an ordained minister, these are very serious accusations,’’ said attorney Matt Blair, who is representing the pastor in the witchcraft lawsuit project.

‘‘Webster’s Dictionary defines witchcraft as practicing the dark arts, and the dark arts are defined as being in league with the devil,’’ Blair said.

I'd say bloodletting AND leaches are next.
