Anyone that EVER says "Nuke'em" on a whim and in seriousness about countries that our corporations and their whore media and government have decided are enemies with a straight face is an IDIOT.
Not only are they idiots, saying "Nuke'em should be a crime, with a mandatory sentence of visiting the exhibits at Hiroshima and Nagasaki to learn what that word really means, and THEN they should be sentenced to spend at least a full day in a burn ward, changing the bandages of patients in excruciating pain from keloids and other burns the likes of which are produced by "nukes", napalm, and all the other technological terrors the US routinely hurls at impoverished people whose governments fail to comply with its every whim.

1. I always call people on it immediately.
"So, you want to kill all living things in that country. All the children, all the babies, all the trees and the animals. You want to send a radiation fallout that will blow over the entire continent and eventually spread over the atmosphere, poisoning us as well. Do you really understand what a nuke does? If so, please explain it. If you don't have the full understanding of exactly what nuking a country does, please, see The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara and hear from McNamara yourself. You'll never say nuke 'em again after you see Japan."

That usually shuts the stupid up fast when they realize you clearly have thought more about it than they have and they have nothing to argue with.

2. and, of course, they're the ones who would claim
that our troops would never, ever, EVER do such a thing as Abu Ghraib and all the other shit . . . except that, in their sicko sex dreams, they're the ones doing the shit to the Iraqis . . .

3. They also masturbate constantly over notions of "Courage", "bravery"...
"patriotism", etc. But could there possibly be any more cowardly way of waging war than hurling a nuke?

5. Of course it would be cowardly.
And I never tire of telling wingnuts that our "President" is a cowardly little shit who fights by remote control, and that the only way that waging war can require courage is if the person waging it HAS A CONSCIENCE TO BEGIN WITH.

And we all know that Chimpy, quite simply, does not give a shit whether anonymous people live or die.

4. I don't know about codifying statements like "nuke 'em" as being against
the law, but I agree with you - they are fucking idiots! :puke:
