2. Yeah, that's right. They work for US, right?
Wish it was an at-will employment situation. No fault firing and all that. I would call Bush into my office and tell him that, sorry, his services were no longer needed. Hand him his last check and then have him escorted to his desk to pick up his belongings - maybe frogmarched to the door.

7. If it is up to Congress...
we are in deep shit.
Congress?
What Congress?
You mean the treasonous bastards taking
money from their multi national corporate
masters while they remain silent and complicit with what
they KNOW are crimes against the American people
along with many civilians in other countries?

5. It's offensive, very very offensive to think that this is where we are
at this point in time.... if we take this one step further... Russia can invade ANY COUNTRY it feels might be a threat to them... WMD's or no. Of course then we would have to pummel them (especially if said country had oil) and tell them that preemptive war is a bad bad idea for them, not for us, but for them... yes.

8. Several of us knew it then...
That's how we ended up here.
It's not like we can do anything to stop them
when the branches of government who are SUPPOSED
to protect us are no more than pedophiles running
the pre school-
but hey, at least we have each other to talk to, eh?

This son-of-a-bitch is going to have an investigation into how the illegal wiretapping was LEAKED, but nothing, NOTHING about how criminal it is to bypass the constitution to spy on American citizens or anyone on US soil.
