Dixie Chicks: Not a huge fan but did download ....
Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 08:13 PM by blueinindiana
'Not Ready to Make Nice' on iTunes.

I think the 'Chicks' should 'Demand' an apology from the country fans who shunned them ... the 'Chicks' where right and the 'Country Fans' where wrong.

Special Note to:

Darryl Worley: 'Have You Forgotten' ... Crummy song tying 9/11 into Iraq
Clint Black: 'Iraq and Roll'

Toby Keith: Who loves the troops but failed to serve himself.

Sadly I don't expect it.

1. Amen!
Country fans used to be rebels. Now they are sheep following the Judas Goat to the slaughter.

2. Dixie Chicks
We both know that will never happen. I think the best thing the chicks can do is to kiss off the Country Genre and move up to a genre that is more tolerant

3. Why do you say "but did download"
If you're a huge fan, there's nothing wrong with that at all since you're paying for the song. Unless you meant you're NOT a huge fan "but did download" the song.

4. Have you heard the Apolitical Alan Jackson song he wrote after 911?
I can't remember the name, but it's very moving, and captures how I felt that whole week.

7. That's it...
He doesn't praise anyone or say anything gung ho about war...he just talks about how he felt and it is a really good song.

8. Toby Keith may "love" the troops, but he failed to protect them
and stand up for what was best for them.
