it's being hyped as a bellweather today, and I just saw a site that said over FIFTEEN MILLION bucks has been spent there (I heard on the radio the pugs have spent $5 million, so I don't know how accurate that was), and, if true, has to be close to the record for money ever spent on a congressional campaign, let alone one with such a short duration

I heard the pukes on tweety dismiss a "close loss" as being important, despite the 15 point pug/dem registration differential, so that makes me think it's even more important that the carpetbagging lobbyist Bilbray gets his ass kicked.
