Investigators say they believe they know who killed Clemson junior Tiffany Souers.

A nationwide manhunt is underway for Jerry Buck Inman, who is described as a 35-year-old man with numerous tattoos.

Inman's last known address is in Dandridge, Tenn., about 30 miles east of Knoxville.

Ariail said that warrants have been issued for Inman’s arrest for kidnapping and death in Souer's death at her apartment on May 26.

Investigators say they believe Inman may be driving a 1990 red and silver Chevy S10 blazer or a green Chevrolet Camaro or a maroon Ford van with Tennessee license tags.

"Inman is considered extremely dangerous and any sightings of him should be reported to authorities immediately,” Ariail said at a news conference on Tuesday evening. “He most likely will be driving the Blazer or one of these other vehicles."

Inman is registered as a sex offender in Florida and has felony convictions in North Carolina.

State Law Enforcement Division chief Robert Stewart said that Inman was identified as a suspect after DNA matching conducted by SLED.

The DNA evidence was gathered from Souers' apartment in Central, Stewart said.

“We are asking anyone who has seen Inman or has information about his whereabouts to contact our hotline,” Arial told the news conference. “We are seeking information no matter how small. … Inman is considered extremely dangerous.”

A tip line set up to gather information about the case has gotten hundreds of calls since late last week.

In addition to the tip line, officials released ATM surveillance images of the suspect at the Wachovia and Suntrust banks in Clemson on Friday.

Dispatchers have fielded calls from across the Upstate and out-of-state.

If you or anyone you know has information, call the Souers Homicide Tip Line at 800-442-2746 and press "2."
