How will the Predicted Terror Attacks this Fall affect the Election?
Edited on Wed Jun-07-06 05:58 AM by Philosoraptor
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/06/05/terror/main1683852.shtml

(CBS) U.S. officials believe Canadian arrests over the weekend and three recent domestic incidents in the United States are evidence the U.S. will soon be hit again by a terrorist attack. Privately, they say, they'd be surprised if it didn't come by the end of the year, reports CBS News correspondent Jim Stewart in a CBS News exclusive.

------------------------------------

According to all the experts, new terror attacks are definitely coming. This fall.

I thought we were safer with Saddam behind bars.

1. I hope the "terror attacks" keep the neocons/fundies at home and..........
.....I further hope all liberals and Dems see right through it for the scare tactic it is.

3. The Democrats had better sell it as proof that the republican
"we keep you safer" motto is bull shit.

4. It may well backfire!
I think too many people are sick of living in fear and the fact that all this administration does is cry wolf won't help especially since they did NOTHING to stop 9/11. I guess we'll see.

6. I think the upcoming "terra" attacks will be used as an excuse.........
to "postpone indefinitely" some congressional elections - if it looks as though the repukes are going to lose lots of seats.

7. They will vote for Bush's people
They have hardly started in the GOP after all the Cold War lasted for 40 years and please do not tell me the CIA did not know it was over long before we did. I watched the budget thing on c-span last night. We are really going down. GOP is running the show and spending money we do not have but not on the people, It is wild. It is every GOP for himself and Bush and to hell with the country that is for sure.

8. All I'm saying is, we'd better prepare, and brace ourselves.
It's inevitable, and it's real, and we'd better have some real back up plans.

9. gee, right on time... how convenient for the fascists
that the 'terrorists' strike just when they're needed. Gee, I wonder where it'll be. Let's see, they just cut funding for NY and DC, so that's probably a pretty good bet. Then they'll just say "No one could've forseen" as they always do, and the sheeple will cower beneath the rocks and trade away their last remaining civil liberties and our descension to an Orwellian Corporate Theocracy will be complete.

10. The Republicans are grasping
for good gimmicks, manipulations and political stunts
that will give them their base back.

Any fool knows that you can get someones attention with
a gimmick and they will forever resent you for it.

I guess Republicans are no ordinary fools.
Must be neo-fools,

11. Apparently only a tiny percent is all they want to fool.
They aren't trying to fool all of us, just a small voting base.
