NY Governors Race: Spitzer holds 50-point lead over GOP Rival

If there is any one race which is a foregone conclusion this year it is the New York Governor's race. Atty. General Eliot Spitzer holds an overwhelming 50-point lead over his likely GOP opponent Fasco (65-15 percent). William Weld, who dropped out yesterday, would have lost to Spitzer by 66-15.
According to Kos an overwhelming win by Spitzer in NY state could bring Democrats three congressional seats as well. Hot Dog!
