My letter to The Today Show

I followed Randi's advice and e-mailed The Today Show. In all honesty I don't watch the show very often but this is the reason I don't. One too many O'Reilly appearances.



You lost a viewer over this one. I usually watch the first 30-minutes to catch up on news. Why was this woman given 8 minutes during your news segment? So, her book is being released this week. I haven't read it, but I have no plans to read a book that will explain to me why I'm "godless" because I don't agree with her politcally. I am 43 yrs old, married to father of my two children and I won't read a book that judges my morallity based in how I vote. She has her freedom to say what she wants, but when you give her air-time during the legitimate news time, you are basically endorsing her. Considering the timeliness of her appearance during the Gay Marriage Amendment debate, you should have asked her if she has sex outside marriage. She' single, right? Her book's title implies she's a christian. Now that would have been news. Instead you pick the 9/11 widows to goad her into going after. Even though Matt Lauer "got testy with her" she was allowed to slander these women on national television.

Maybe you should also have Greg Palast on, his book was released on 6-6-06 also. They are both on Amazon's Top 10.
