How many straight DUers will turn gay the moment gay marriage passes?
Just a little informal poll. Because I'm curious to know how gay marriage will destroy straight marriage more than divorce does.

1. Lots of straight marriages are going strong in MA
And we legalized gay marriage over 2 years ago.

2. As soon as gay marriage is allowed throughout the country...
I'm going to call up my girlfriend (if I ever get one) break up with her, and head out to a gay bar to celebrate.

5. Does the amendment also legalize that gay elixir that changes orientation?
Drop it in a wine spritzer or something.

6. As Far As I Know, There Are NO Gays in My Family
there have been alcoholics, dysfunction, and mental illness - but no gays. I'd rather be gay than an alcoholic. Being raised by gay parents is far better than being raised by alcoholics. If I do turn gay I would be most happy, but don't expect to turn gay after the bill is passed.

8. I'll bet legal gay marriage ruins a lot of gay relationships
Think about it - how many straight relationships have you known to have ended because one of the partners wanted to get married and the other "wasn't ready to commit"? I can think of at least one couple I know that will probably spit within 6 months of beign able to legally marry.

And then there's the old joke that if you want to cut down on gay sex, you should definately allow gay marriage.

The real issue is that it's going to make gay couples just like the rest of us - which is what America is all about right?

is the secretary that works for her husband and not if some gay person wants to get married. I could tell the moderator thought that was right on.:-)
