It would severly lower his shows standards.

1. People Respect Her Because She's Photogenic
Edited on Wed Jun-07-06 06:03 PM by OrangeCountyDemocrat
Even semi-liberals like Bill Maher want to have her as a guest, and think she's all that.

Just because you have long blonde hair and an attitude, does not make you intelligent. In fact, it usually should say the opposite.

14. Have you seen her lately?
She's not so photogenic anymore. She's skeletally thin, with long dry hair and a pruning face with bags under her eyes that you could use to pack for a two-week vacation. She makes Kate Moss on a coke binge look healthy.

I think the inner ugliness is starting to manifest itself outwardly.

I certainly won't be watching Lou Dobbs tomorrow. I haven't been watching him much lately anyway, and I can't believe he's giving that loudmouthed harridan a platform. Go to www.loudobbs.com and send him an e-mail protesting this if you like. I did.

4. Let her spew
Maybe people will realize she is the republican voice.

Just a thought.

5. Just be glad she speaks for THEM
I see a lot of posts that object to Coulter getting any publicity. I'm beginning to think that we should do the opposite - Claim that she is the true voice of the Republican Right. Make them disown her or live with the disgrace and humiliation.

When Capra made the "Why We Fight" films during WW-2, one of the most effective elements was actually showing experts from Nazi propaganda films. It made it very clear what we were up against and why it was evil to the core. Ann Coulter is their problem, not ours.

12. yeah, there's a difference...
between discussing someone's statements as if they have any merit and pointing out someone's statements to make them an albatross around the neck of their political allies.

Coulter should get all the publicity she wants, just so long as viewers understand she is a Republican, and she gives speeches where she refers to "ragheads" to Republican groups that draw thousands of cheering Republicans, and she's brought on as a regular guest on numerous Republican TV and radio shows.

It is to the Republicans' benefit to shut her up or hide her like the crazy aunt in the attic.

I'm actually rather glad that Lauer interviewed Coulter on the Today Show: she's so batshit insane that any thinking person realizes how vile her filth is. Whereas RWers should be upset when the Today Show has Michael Moore on, because he's certain to make some moderates think, as he's not the freakish commie the RW keeps telling everyone he is, we should be happy when they have Coulter on, because she's certain to drive moderates (and embarrassed Republicans) away! There's no debate among objective people that Moore at least comes off as sane, regardless of what you think of his politics, and Coulter rants and raves like the lunatic she is.

6. He's pretty insecure about being a racist.
Which strikes me as odd, perhaps he should just renounce the racism.

Anyway, I'd go for it. Include something about how "if you're not a racist, Lou, then how come you keep giving white supremacists like Coulter your air time?"

8. I so agree with you.
In fact, I have already written to CNN and Lou Dobbs telling them that my husband and I never miss the show, but we will miss it tomorrow. I have better things to do with my time than watch that bitch spewing her hatred and helping her sell her book. For the life of me, I can't understand why she is showing up on so many programs. Is there actually anyone who likes/respects her?

10. network producers probably push it/her
for the "grit" factor (since Crossfire is off the air, right?) I think the TV folks just go for Coulter because of the inflammatory nature of her...to them, anything that adds heat is a good thing.

Remember the ratio of payday : tolerance

11. Same here
I do watch him almost every night and sent my comment saying I wouldn't watch him tomorrow night. The Repubs know enough already that she speaks for them ... she's on FOX enough and has far too much publicity as it is ... hell, she's getting TONS of it here!
