Exactly how many screwed up elections will it take

before it is generally acknowledged that electronic voting in all its many guises is a farce, a sham, an illusion, and a pretense? Is there some actual number we have to hit? On the greatest page right this moment is two threads about elections in Iowa and California that were either totally invalid or delayed due to machine malfunctions. How many gas tanks on Pintos had to explode? How many birth defects from Thalidomide? It is a product liability issue, pure and simple.

The proof of elections being stolen by machines can no longer be doubted.

I wished it weren't so. I wished we could trust the innocent election workers who tell us the outcomes. But we can't. Not unless they hand count our ballots, as they did in Iowa.

Believe it or not, the machines totally screwed up the count in a local election there, and only because the local official had personal knowledge that the machine count was wrong did they undertake a hand count which found a preposterous machine made error.
