1. Hmmm...
So he SURVIVED two 500lb bombs on his head? And then we handed him over to the Iraqis?

More like "thing that make you go :puke: "

2. That's the paybacks for lying so much, even if you had the
story of the year, and if it was legit, no one believes a liar(s).

If they got the guy, good. Not going to help anything, but good. But I wish someone would find a story and stick with it.

by a pair of 500lb. bombs. More lies Fromm the administration that will lie about anything and everything.

8. Funny how this story is slowing starting to morph
Makes me wonder if they're trying to set up a fallback position, a CYA tactic so that when Zaqarwi does turn up alive and well, they have a ready made excuse to pull out of their ass.

But either way, with or without Zaqarwi, this war is going to grind on. This is nothing but a propaganda victory, designed to bump up some poll numbers. In the real world, this man's death won't bring us one step closer to anything remotely called "victory"

he was dug out of the rubble alive, and later died of his wounds...does make a person go hmmmmm :freak:

Soon they will say he had a last statement..."I am Al Zarqawi, You got me. Boosh the infidel, is one tough hombre'. :::gasp cough"

"But now I will become a legend, people will claim to see my spirit and fight on. I will become ::gasp:: the islamic Elvis." <he expires>

27. My post early this morning seems more and more plausible:
"Interesting how this comes out the day after the gay marriage ban went down in flames. Could he have been dead all along, but the pentagon waited until a politically opportunistic time to show it off? I'm just trying on my tin-foil hat over here...)"

31. Not what they said at the press conference.
There they said F-16s dropped the bombs, not helicopters.
And Iraqi forces were the first on the scene.

Can they get ANYTHING right?

to a secure location. They also said the Iraqi forces were the first there. If anything, the Iraqis turned the body over to us.
