Father of beheaded man blames Bush, not Zarqawi

Thu Jun 8, 2006 10:16 AM ET

By Jon Hurdle

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Michael Berg, whose son Nick was beheaded in Iraq in 2004, said on Thursday he felt no sense of relief at the killing of the al Qaeda leader in Iraq and blamed President Bush for his son's death.

(snip)

"I don't think that Zarqawi is himself responsible for the killings of hundreds of thousands of people in Iraq," Berg said in a combative television interview with the U.S. Fox News network. "I think George Bush is.

"George Bush is the one that invaded this country, George Bush is the one that destabilized it so that Zarqawi could get in, so that Zarqawi had a need to get in, to defend his region of the country from American invaders."

(snip)

"Yeah, like George Bush didn't OK the torture and death and rape of people in the Abu Ghraib prison for which my son was killed in retaliation?" he told his Fox interviewers.

In a telephone interview with Reuters from his home in Wilmington, Delaware, the father said: "I have no sense of relief, just sadness that another human being had to die."

(snip)

Nick Berg's videotaped beheading by hooded captors was posted on the Internet, and the father said he could understand what Zarqawi's family was going through.

2. Bush let Zarqawi live so he could have his "war" in Iraq.
Bush turned down chances to kill Zarqawi: ex-CIA spy

A former top CIA spy says the United States deliberately turned down several opportunities to kill terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in the lead-up to the Iraq war.

Mike Scheuer headed the CIA's bin Laden unit for six years before resigning in 2004.

He has told the ABC's Four Corners program the Bush administration had Zarqawi in its sights almost every day for a year.

He says a plan to destroy Zarqawi's training camp in Kurdistan was abandoned for diplomatic reasons.

"The reasons the intelligence service got for not shooting Zarqawi was simply that the President and the National Security Council decided it was more important not to give the Europeans the impression we were gunslingers," he said.

If Zarqawi was so evil, why did they not take him out when they had a chance?

Invading Iraq was more important. So Zarqawi became famous. And Nick Berg died.

8. We've all been LIED to by George Bush et. al.
"I have been lied to by my own government,".............

This man simplifies the enormous and unbelievable degree of damage lain upon the United States of America, by the illegal and unjust directive of GW Bush.

Human death and suffering on such a horrific scale is of no relevance to Bush.
If in this world, the laws of Karma are the only laws that Bush and pals must adhere to, then so be it.
George sold his soul and may the universe someday compensate his greed for power and money, through which acquired by any means, caused, yet unmeasured death and sorrow , by his voice alone.

Karmic compensation is tenfold. And not even George Bush can manipulate this law of the Universe.

Bush is a cold blooded murderer..in the same fashion as Adolph.
Neither owns a conscience.

Thanks
Blaze

10. I can't think of one instance
in any given situation where we have been told the truth about anything. They lie about Iraq...everything. Easier than telling the truth I guess.
