Would this letter be illegal?

Dear Ms. O'Connor,

I read with a bit of bewilderment an account of your recent speech at Georgetown University wherein you warned that dictatorship is a practical consequence of the current assault on the judiciary by those unjustifiably decrying "judicial activism." I mean, what was that speech supposed to be? A mea culpa? A gesture to wipe your slate clean? Your attempt to get right with history?

Sorry, Sandy... your place in history is forever assured as a disgraceful political whore unless you can carry your ass back onto the bench and reverse the damage you did to this country in December 2000.

After all.. what do you expect from the man and his cohorts when you sided with him when he sued to stop legal vote counting? I think even somebody as dumb as yourself would agree that a contempt for votes is a hallmark of a dictator.

How can you even credibly deny judicial activism when you perpetrated the most glaring example in this nation's history by breaking your oath and appointing your partisan to the White House?

Did I say dumb? Well, I judge you so because of the remarkable talent you displayed for asking the most fatuous questions at inappropriate times, but not even you could have been so dumb as to accept Antonin Scalia's absurd contortions in arriving at the Bush v. Gore decision. I don't buy for a moment that you bought his legal argument... instead, you just sought to fulfill the wish you expressed at your party on election night: that you wished to retire under a Republican president.

Well, you got to retire under an illegitimate one, at least. And by your own making. And now you have the nerve to warn of dictatorship by his party when you took yourself out of one of only 9 jobs that stand between us and your dire warning? A more disgusting political creature than yourself I'm having a hard time to recall... well, there's always John McCain, I guess.

Just shut up, Sandy. Just whom are you trying to impress? The people whom you warn us against want that dictatorship, and the people who oppose them think you're a whore. Enjoy your retirement.
