13. A motion to recommit is the minority's last chance to amend the bill...
It sends the bill back to committee with instructions to change the bill after it has been amended on the floor. It almost never passes.

12. I was really confused with this.
The Rs were making sense and the Ds were coming across like dictators. What did I miss? I don't understand it. The internet as messy as it is seems to work and the Rs said, "don't fix what isn't broken." I agree. So I know somewhere there is something I don't understand.

15. Dems support net neutrality...
What that means is making it law that ISPs must treat all data equally. If net neutrality isn't made law, an ISP that is paid by yahoo could make yahoo faster than google. An ISP that hates Democrats could block DU and so on.

21. Right now, we have net neutrality because it is the FCC's policy.
Markey wanted to make it law but the amendment failed. Thus, if the FCC changes it's policy or refuses to enforce it, we lose it.

23. I can understand money grabbing Repubs
going along with the big money spread around the beltway by the telecoms but why would a Democrat sell out so easily? We need to keep writing and calling. Its very interesting reading and more petitions if you'd like to sign and send on to the Reps in DC......... www.savetheinternet.com
I would think that this being an election year Congress would act very cautiously on this issue.
I'm still a little confused but doesn't the Senate have to act on this yet?

Support Net Neutrality as well. For their own reasons, of course...
